Villa La Diva is a wine and holiday farm, located in the middle of the vineyards below the medieval village of Montefiore Dell'Aso. The villa is located on a hill with a beautiful view of the Adriatic sea. The nearest beach is approx. 10 minutes drive away. Montefiore Dell'Aso is about a 5-minute drive away.

There are two nice small supermarkets in Montefiore: Both supermarkets have a large and wide range and of course a fresh department. In the village there is also a bakery where you can buy delicious fresh bread. On the piazza Belvedere is an edicola where you can get all kinds of souvenirs, beach stuff and toys, etc. in addition to magazines, the cozy real Italian bar of Paula and Allesandro. Take a seat on the terrace with an amazing view of the sea, the mountains and the neighboring village of Ripatransone and order a drink, ice cream or sandwich. On the piazza you will also find 'Manu's Pizza'. Here Manu bakes the most delicious Italian pizzas.

Near the blue sign with the big white T is a great tabaccheria that you should definitely visit. This is a special shop with really the most stuff on the least number of square meters with a super sweet couple as owners who are always up for a chat!

We definitely recommend a visit to Pasticceria DORINA (opposite the statue and hospital) where you can get the most delicious delicacies and ice cream. TIP: order an aperitivo in the afternoon and you will receive a drink of your choice (such as wine) and five delicious snacks for only Euro 3,50

Villa La Diva Farmhouse

Although agriturismo is becoming increasingly popular, many holidaymakers are not (yet) familiar with this concept. What is an agriturismo actually? In short: agriturismo is a holiday on a (wine) farm. Do not be afraid! You don't have to get up early during your well-deserved holiday to milk the cows or to work on the farm. Agriturismo is a collective name for holidays where you can experience your holiday according to the real rural Italian life. Winery Famiglia Centanni

Villa La Diva is officially Agriturismo Centanni and is owned by the Centanni Family. The Centanni family has been making wine for many generations. It was first for family and friends, now it has been a winery since 2005, where tradition, culture and modern technology are brought together. Wine is produced exclusively from organic grapes. It really is a family business with 3 generations working at the moment. Centanni's slogan is therefore “Vini di Famiglia”.

You can immediately see that it is a modern company by the appearance of the bottles. Both bottle and label have a contemporary styling. In addition, Giacomo is the first in Le Marche to opt for the Vino-Lock for closing the bottles, a glass closure that prevents cork blemishes, oxygen influences and other wine threats.

Although the appearance is modern, very old grape varieties are used for the line of 6 very beautiful wines. Take, for example, Passerina and Pecorino. Yes, there is indeed also a grape variety that bears the same name as sheep cheese. The compact irregular cluster is reminiscent of a sheep (pecora in Italian).

Climate in Montefiore Dell'Aso, Le Marche (The Marches)

Le Marche has a wonderful climate. A spring that is often very pleasant in March. A long summer that starts as early as June and often continues into September. Le Marche is one of the regions of Italy with the most hours of sunshine on average. In this case, that's more than 2.250 hours! The months of July and August can be quite warm, with the beach and mountains providing cooling.
